PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE EVENTSBETA WEBSITE, PLATFORM, COMMUNITY, OR ANY RELATED SERVICES (COLLECTIVELY, THE “PLATFORM”). BY ACCESSING, REGISTERING FOR, OR USING EVENTSBETA, YOU AGREE TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THE PLATFORM.

These Terms apply to all users, including event organizers, attendees, partners, sponsors, contributors, and visitors.

1. About EventsBeta

EventsBeta is a platform for listing, discovering, promoting, and exploring events such as startup events, tech conferences, job fairs, meetups, and related activities. EventsBeta may include community features, submissions, listings, paid placements, sponsorship opportunities, and promotional tools.

EventsBeta may be operated independently or in connection with related brands or platforms, including FoundersBeta.

2. Acceptance of Terms

BY SIGNING UP FOR OR USING THE EVENTSBETA SITE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT YOU ARE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, NOW AND IN THE FUTURE.

If you are using EventsBeta on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use EventsBeta. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

4. Accounts and Registration

When creating an account, you agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Be responsible for all activity under your account

EventsBeta reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts at its sole discretion, without notice, for violations of these Terms.

5. Purchases, Payments, and Refunds

All purchases are final and non-refundable.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Featured listings
Sponsored events
Promotional placements
Subscriptions
Paid submissions
Advertising or sponsorship packages

By completing a purchase on EventsBeta, you acknowledge and agree that you are not entitled to any refund, credit, or exchange under any circumstances.

6. Listings, Submissions, and Content

Users may submit events, descriptions, images, links, and other content (“User Content”). By submitting content, you agree that:

You own or have the rights to the content you submit
Your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights
Your content is accurate and not misleading

You grant EventsBeta a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, distribute, modify, promote, and publish your content in connection with the Platform and its marketing.

EventsBeta reserves the right to edit, reject, remove, or moderate any content at any time for any reason, without notice.

7. No Guarantee of Results

EventsBeta does not guarantee:

Attendance, ticket sales, leads, visibility, or engagement
Accuracy or completeness of listings
That your event, listing, or content will achieve any specific outcome

All use of the Platform is at your own risk.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

EventsBeta may contain links to third-party websites, tools, or services. These are provided for convenience only.

EventsBeta does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any third-party content, policies, or practices. Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and them.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS.

EVENTSBETA MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY.

EVENTSBETA DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

10. Limitation of Liability

YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF EVENTSBETA IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

YOU AGREE THAT EVENTSBETA, ITS ORGANIZATION, OWNERS, TEAM MEMBERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, VOLUNTEERS, SPONSORS, PARTNERS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, WHETHER DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, NOW OR AT ANY TIME IN THE FUTURE.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL EVENTSBETA OR ITS RELATED PARTIES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, REVENUE, BUSINESS, OR REPUTATION, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO:

Use or inability to use the Platform
Listings, events, or third-party content
Purchases or payments
Errors, interruptions, or delays
Unauthorized access or data breaches

THIS LIMITATION APPLIES REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY AND EVEN IF EVENTSBETA HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless EventsBeta and its owners, team members, partners, sponsors, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of:

Your use of the Platform
Your submitted content
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any law or third-party rights

12. Community Conduct

By using EventsBeta, you agree not to:

Post false, misleading, or deceptive content
Harass, abuse, or harm others
Upload malicious code or spam
Impersonate any person or organization
Violate applicable laws or regulations

EventsBeta may remove content or restrict access at its sole discretion.

13. Termination

EventsBeta reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

All provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including limitation of liability, disclaimers, and indemnification.

14. Changes to These Terms

EventsBeta may update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on the website. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction where EventsBeta operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
