Toronto has a new startup event! Say bye bye to those big tech meetups. FoundersBeta has officially launched a new in-person startup event series designed to bring together founders, operators, and industry leaders for practical conversations about building and scaling companies. It’s called Founders Collab.
The first event was recently hosted in downtown Toronto and featured a panel of three experienced speakers: Mark Bania, Viler Lika, MBA, B.Eng, and John Marzo. The discussion focused on real world strategies for sales, marketing, growth, and the everyday challenges faced by entrepreneurs.
Organizers say the goal of the event is to create a more focused and meaningful alternative to traditional large tech meetups. Instead of crowded networking halls, the FoundersBeta format emphasizes direct conversations, practical insights, and connections that can help early stage companies move forward.
The event was made possible with support from several community partners. Special thanks were extended to SingleKey, Mindful Snacks Inc., Bonsai Growth Solutions, Crafty Ramen, Cansulta, and AirFairness for helping bring the event to life.
FoundersBeta plans to continue hosting similar gatherings throughout the year, bringing together founders and experts to discuss the most important topics in the startup ecosystem. Attendees can expect future panels covering fundraising, product development, hiring, and scaling into new markets.
With strong early interest and a growing network, the new event series aims to become a regular meeting place for Toronto entrepreneurs looking to learn, connect, and grow their companies.
